Toshiba Firmware needed 6570c and 5540c

Hi Everyone.

Can anyone provide me with the firmware for 6570C or 5540C?

Toshiba in New Zealand refuse to provide it, and insist on a new HDD being purchased for $700! which I find absurd.

There's a fundamental problem with that scenario.

You cannot preload the the firmware onto the drive. The firmware must be loaded via the destination MFP's USB port. So even if there was firmware pre-loaded on the drive there would be no way for the MFP to find it without the proper encryption key. =^..^=
