We are trying to solve a jam issue and need to know procedure to check and clear jams on a Toshiba ES 6550C. This is the only one we have out in the field, doing a favor for customer. We deal with Canon and Sharp thanks for replys.

That's kind of a broad, unspecific question.
Exactly what jam codes are you talking about. Please print a 9S-107 jam/error report. It will have all the information we need. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

1st page jam there is no time to even clear fax, print jobs as soon as ready it"s feeding paper before you start trying to clear or cancel pending jobs any way were already working on getting out of this favor we were doing for customer told them to call and complain to Toshiba about the dealer who sold them the box. thanks anyway blackcatComment

Turn off machine, open all paper drawers. And turn machine back on. Machine can't print if it doesn't have paper to pull. Then try to delete jobs. Fyi you can't delete fax jobs!Comment
