Did you mention what problem you were hoping to fix? I don't think so. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
The original problem was soft on/off switch doesn't work, can't prosecute 05 command then it got worst and got "can't recognize cartridge" and I can't execute 08.
At that point I ordered the system board and logic board, I'll let you know after installation if it fix the problem.
Replaced the system board, it solved the soft switch problem and the 08 setting.
Still have the error "toner not recognized...". I changed the logic board still error, check the firmware setting it is US (NAD).
The 2 cartridges I tried are US OEM cartridges.
The only other option is the interface board or harness.
Anybody ever had the need to replace those?
Check the contact springs inside the copier touching the chip of the toner. Take it out and clean the contacts inside. Try to pull and straighten the springs to have a firm contact on the toner chips..
