Estudio 3040c- cover open " close front door" error

Client says MFP flashed on and off during a print job, they removed the paper jams but MFP says to close front door.

    1) I made sure all door switches for front door are in place along with actuators located on the front door as well as the side and duplex doors.

    2) I disconnected the small switch on the front door (left hand side) and used a wire loop to complete the circuit...still same error. When I actuate the right switch on the front with door open, I hear fans turn on so I think that switch is working.

    Any ideas?

Did you check the front door switch? (The large DPDT push switch on the rear frame, operated by a long linkage straight through the main body) I've replaced a couple of those on the Masherbrum Series. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

No, I had the back cover off to look for fuses. I will check.
