Hi All,
I am getting no assistance from a large network administrator.
I have to replace all Toshiba devices on the network and would ideally like to use the static address these devices are already on.
Sounds simple but the devices are locked down with papercut and when I log in as a user administration is greyed out in user functions.
Here is where my problem lies.
No local IT administrator so and cant obtain the papercut administrator usr/passwd (tried default but has been changed).
No access to papercut server to identify by serial number.
All clients are set up for follow you printing so no host name to reverse look up.
I am a Ricoh tech so would have many ideas how to work around this on my kit but on the Toshiba kit its a little more tricky as there is no GUI in service mode like the Ricoh kit so cant browse around service mode.
Is there any way to print out a ip config in service mode ?
Is there any way to disable papercut in service mode so I can access administration tools within user functions on the MFD ?
Any other suggested method are welcome as I have many different studio models to try to resolve the current static addresses in use.
