did you load the software on HDD ?

you seem to struggle with very simple problems...

    are you a TRAINED tech?

what did you do when replacing the HDD run any service programs?
    format the HDD?
you ask for help but don't give us SHIT to go on!

There's just a little bit more to it than swapping the HDD. If I were you (and I sure hope I'm not), I would read the section on replacing the HDD. You'll need firmware to complete the process.

Come back when you've read the manual. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thats why I like to see some proof that he read the manual. I absolutely refuse to read the manual to somebody perfectly capable of finding the answer for himself, but won't try. =^..^=

Blackcat is a rude dude. You dont have to be trained to be a great tech. I am a Toshiba Dealer and I have not been Trained to know everything Toshiba. Load firmware via usb power machine on with usb firware in then holding 49 down . dont select scanner upgrade. Format hard drive by holding 4 clear then select format hard drive before loading firmware. Techs who need training should go home LOL. Experience is your best teacher and blackcat should be teaching instead of preaching. I have corrected Blackcat at every turn . He said a 230 is obsolete and no available parts such a joke. His training has made him lazy and ignorate.

Yes sir ... ignorate me. Apparently you don't have to be literate either.

Blackcat. I like your cat though. Seriously if you depend on a manual to much it weakens your ability to resolve issues that are not in the manual especially mechanics. I was trained by Xerox Corporation over a 10 year period in strict time testing facility in Leesburg Virginia. They covered so
much crap you never use in the field or even need to know. I have not been trained on a single product since I started my own company in 1995. I have and can work on any copier made with a service manual as a reference tool only. One thing about the Xerox and seeing they invented all the processes, it has given me the mental tools to repair any product. Have good day and may the bird of paradise land on your shoulder and peck your ear off. Just kidding Need help? I am the man to call.

You have never had any formal in class copier training since 1985? 39 years ago?

Are you able to purchase new Toshiba eBN2 product?

Are you under the porch yet. When you own a service company and authorized to sell Toshiba are outsourced by HP Inc., Lexmark, Canon, KonicaMinolta then you can brag. You are a yes man to a company and can only look big behind this forum. I was on this forum way before you but just came back because idiots like you can"t help me with nothing. You want trouble I can give it to you. Actually your the one that I was referencing to as rude. I read the wrong reply. When you resort to cursing you lost the your position. Are you making 200k a year. Go away loser. When you run a company you haven't the time to set here everyday like you. I don't play games.

Yes and yes. I was working on digital printing systems with ethernet before you new what a computer was. Banking and military. I got awards on my desk as top 50 techs in the world. Trained in worldwide training centers. Formal training is a joke. That means your stupid and the trainer is smarter than you. Know one on this forum knows more than me. Not one person on any forum has helped me because I don't ask. I know all of every product blindfolded. End of story child.

What is your opinion on the new e478s/ e389cs/ e479cs?

How many print devices do you have under service contract?

                              Re. Techno hubris...
"All" technical information becomes obsolete or outdated.
I believe it's important to share current technical information with the younger generation before our information becomes outdated an useless.

There is no purpose to sitting in our retirement rocking chair waiting for obsolete outdated machine topics to arrive into the CTN forum. The younger generation would have more than likely experienced a totally different range of machine faults, other than our older outdated faults.

When we fully retire as "Technicians", we will be fully qualified experts on outdated obsolete topics, which equate to no value or nothing at all.

So, befriend the forum where practical, and share what you know with others, before it becomes brain fog or redundant...
