    Toshiba e255SE - LCD panel has Lime Green display

    We upgraded an old e255SE to a new copier. We want to donate the e255SE to a charity. 86k clicks, works A-OK.

    On the LCD panel, the top row and the bottom row is this very strange lime green colour. The middle of the LCD panel is the normal blue colour. The LCD panel works A-OK.

    We have updated the firmware to latest. No change.

    Do you think the LD panel is damaged displaying only this strange colour or something else?

      Have seen that before. Had to replace the entire touch screen to resolve it.

          I suspected the same. Fortunately, I have a dead parts copier that I can pull a LCD panel off from.

              Try reseating the ribbon cable at the System board. I had the display turn a really interesting shade of pink. Just refitting the ribbon cable fixed it. =^..^=
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
