    Duplexing not avaiable

    Hello

    I have a new one to me at least. I have a customer with a Toshiba es287c. They received a message to replace toner. After replacing the toner it called for a drum which they installed. Now when they try to do a duplex copy or print they can not. I had them try with me on the phone and the say the 1-2 and the 2-2 are greyed out and not avaiable. I looked for a setting in the admin mode to restrict this but I am coming up empty. I have heard of disabling single simplex coping but not duplex. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

      sounds like there is a error code not being reported to you.

          Yes, take a look at 9S-106 or 9S-107 error list. =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              They must make sure the duplex unit is installed properly into the main body hence the reason duplex options are greyed out. Duplex unit connector may be broken or out of place in worst cases, I had this before.
