    389CS (lexmark device)

Device is asking for a username and password to access the web admin , the customer doesnt have the password and we didnt set it. Is there a way to reset it short of using the factory default jumper on the control board? Please advise thanks very much!

    No.

While you are at it update the firmware to latest FW 230.237. It will help to extend the life of the fuser which are prone to premature failure and are expensive to replace. Toshiba does not replace them at N/C unlike the same Lexmark XC4140 purchased from Lexmark BSD channels.

Yes, reset the admin password with the jumper procedure on the board. Turn off the machine, open back cover, switch the position of the jumper on the board (jumper color is yellow), turn on the machine and you should have full access. Repeat the procedure to switch the jumper position back.
