Work mostly on sharp , got a call saying scan to email drops way to much … I can’t believe Toshiba has a 300 page feed . Does this cause a lot of scan issues? Thanks Dave

I imagine it could, but not for the reason you think. Scan to email has attachment size limitations. The more consecutive originals that you scan, the more likely you are to exceed those limits. What scan errors are you getting? 2552, 2C15? What attachment size limitations are on your users account? What settings are you using? Color, 600dpi, photo ... all increase the file size very quickly.If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Almost all email providers nowadays limit email attachments to 25MB.
Setup up Save as File (SMB), no file size limitations.

If you scan to email using Slim PDF format for color scanning (asuming your customer wants to scan large color scans) the file size will be way much smaller and can probably fit the mail attachment size.Defects are simple, our mind is complicatedComment
