" ... doesn't help ... " doesn't tell me very much. If I knew what that image was supposed to look like, then I could offer some kind of opinion. How about this?:

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It's still not clear what we are looking at, it would help to print a standard test chart.
No, I will not send you Manuals, Software or your own little repair Genie to fix all your problems for you.

I'm curious what the advantage would be, the internal test charts tell you everything you could want to know if you know how to read them.

For myself, I worked on nine brands of equipment, each with their own unique internal test charts and each with their own unique way to get to them. OR, you can use one common set of charts, that always have the same pattern, and can be used on any devise that prints from USB.

Remember nine ways, or remember one way? For me, it's easier to remember one way, and they don't differ with manufacturer.

That's fair. I would counter, though, that one size doesn't fit all, I also work on many brands and each have their own unique ways of colour rendering along with some using more bespoke imaging process so what looks good on one system doesn't necessarily look good on another.

Also..I simply like it better than the built-in Toshiba charts and the Lexmarks. Defects show up distinctly on Mr. Cats charts.

Would you like to post a test chart that we can recognize?
