    Toshiba e-Studio2555cse

    Hello
    I have a Toshiba estudio2555 cse.
    I have this error message ce40. I understood that it comes from the LEDs, or from the motor (a new toner was emptied from me in 3 minutes).... How difficult it will be to really identify the fault... I resigned myself to not can't fix it anymore.
    However the scan function worked very well.
    Is there a way to disable all the "copier, printer, ..." functions to be able to start the copier without an error message?
    I would like to use the copier only in network scanner mode?
    Is it possible ? Thank you

      Before you give up on diagnosing this issue:

      Run the machine to bring up the CE40 error
      Carefully remove the primary transfer belt without disturbing the latent image on the belt
      Take a photo of the latent developed image on the primary transfer belt and post it here.

      We'll be able to diagnose it further with this information. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Check the back of the M dv unit. There are 3 gears that love to strip out, preventing the unit from rotating. It is the rotation that allows toner into the unit and if the machine calls for toner and it doesn't get it, the toner chip is written as "empty", even though it is not actually empty.

          Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

              If you're sure you just want to use it as a scanner only then you can disable the 2 automatic image quality checks in the 08 service mode. This will stop the machine from automatically checking if the color density or registration is correct. Your image quality will be garbage, but if you're not worried about printing or copying anything then this should get rid of that call for service state.

              08 - 4546 set to 0

              08 - 2486 set to 0
