Scan to e-mail is more difficult to explain. But as far as scan to file. Access the share on the copier by typing in "\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the copier's IP address. Type this into the Run command. In the window that opens create a shortcut to the "file_share" folder. Scans will appear in this folder, which is located on the copier's hdd.

If you can't get to the share or want to setup more complicated scanning it is probably best to call the nearest toshiba dealer.

Scan to local share

Thanks for your reply, If I can get the scan to local share working, this will be enough for me, can you explain little bit more in detail please.

What I have understood that I dont have to do any thing on the copier and when I will press scan on the copier, scaned document will go to the local HD in the copier which I can extract by typing \\192.168.1.171 in the RUN window. It that correct.

How will I send scanned document to the local HD.

Please explain so i will get this done, it is pending for long time.
