    eStudio 352 with C970 code

I have an estudio 352 with C970 code.I swapped drum unit, main charger unit. I replaced the HV board. I have continuity from HV to front side of grid and to charger wire. I do have 24 volts to HV board. Any other ideas before I go to LGC board? Thanks, DC

What about your Trans/Sep??? These can also cause C970.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

did you do the hv mod? to stop the corona from oscillating? (..... this only applies to units with a wire not a sawtooth)

String the t/s and main charge by hand and make sure the spring is tight.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

^^ this is exactly what I have done to over come the C970s just string them extra tight and they won't vibrate. No tails!

there is a mod... the stonger springs did not fix em here in canada.. the hv cover (the little black covers on the ends of the main charger) has been modded to be thicker harder and longer with a felt on one end that touched the wire to DAMPEN the oscillations..... it really does work ... ask your tosh rep they are free here in canada.. he sent me 50 or 60 to do all our machines....

I have installed these but I also restring the corona's by hand and do not ever have this issue. Even with the mod and springs, if I use prestrung coronas I will occasionally get these but never on the hand strung.

                Thanks for feedback.

Thanks for all the feedback. I am waiting on the T/S unit to arrive. This should fix it.

It took the whole thing? What was wrong with it? Just wondering in case someone else sees it in the future....
