    e-studio 3055c

    Hello,
    I'have a problem with a e-studio 3055c,
after power loss i have a F520 error, and now i can't enter in 08 menu, only in 3C menu.
I read in another post, that's a HDD firmware problem, but in the site of productor i can't download any firmware.
There is a procedure to restore an HDD?
If no, there is anyone can tell me how/where download that tool's firmware?

    Thank's

You should get a manual and do some reading. There's a whole chapter just on that. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Oh thank you, i have read all the documentation that i found on line, and all point to flash the firmware hdd, and i dont find where download the firmware. The productor support reply to my ask with a list of partner where buy a support contract, but for an old printer i cant open a support contract.

any chance to have that firmware ?

I've gotten to the point where it requires the firmware on a USB. No where on the internet can I find the firmware. Do you have it?

That's great. I only just signed up as copiers/printers aren't my primary job description so I've never had to come to this page before. I'm an IT consultant that also works on these machines and haven't had the chance to get into the forums and post. If you have IT questions, I'm here for you.

That being said, being flippant towards someone who needs help isn't a good look.

You've used different words, but it reads the same to me: "Give me for free on my third post. And I haven't helped anyone here."

I might have changed my mind, but not now. =^..^=

WTF? Are all copier techs as rude as you? I told you, I came here looking for help and you're not helping. You're actually less than helping, you're being an ass about it at the same time. Based on your high-and-mighty opinion, how many "assists" do I need to complete until I can meet your expectations?

                  More than zero, I think.

You might not have noticed, but participation here is voluntary. If you're intention was to make friends and ingratiate yourself to a group of strangers that help others, I think you'll need to work on your technique.

Do you think that this little conversation will inspire other members to think: " Yes, I think I want to give this person some help."? It did not have that effect on me. I get the feeling that you are entitled. Would you like to start again? =^..^=

Indeed...I have spent 30 years of blood sweat and pulling my hair out and oodles of paid training to get where I am at with my knowledge and expertise.

Let me stop what I am doing and give you all the attention and knowledge required for you to fix your problem without any compensation.

Forums like this are for technicians to assist other technicians in their jobs and paths of learning their crafts.

We do help non-techs as much as we are able and/or feel like it.

However, we all get thin skinned after years of "I am not a tech, I don't want to be a tech, I don't want to pay anyone, you're going to give me everything I need without effort from me to fix my issue"

                    just my $0.02
