I would watch this video and cross your fingers.

    Toshiba eStudio 5055 Develper Rebuild

Toshiba eStudio 5055 Develper Rebuild - YouTube

Although the copier being worked on is different than yours the concepts are the same. If you can get this copier to work in black only consider it a victory and leave the color developers behind.

Then stir the yellow developer in 05-2401.
      While you're still in 05 mode, run 05-2742, 05-4719, 05-4Fax, 05-7869, 05-70Fax, 05-8008, 05-230Fax, 05-8009.
You'll find details in sections 6.1.2 just take your time, and read the details. =^..^=
I cant understand what is 6S-2, can you explain me that part?

also I don use fax function, it is necessary to use the fax codes?

      thanks.

for example, to print the 4Fax test pattern:
power OFF > hold 0 & 5 while powering ON > press 4, then Fax button > test pattern prints out.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Please note.... Developer is nasty chemical and is very fine, that your household vacuum is not suitable for this type of work. Do not use your home vacuum for this job. Also do not breathe in the dust when clearing out the old dev particle. I will stop here and say, if you have not done this before, don't start. Get someone with the proper vacuum or pay someone to do the dev rebuild.
It can turn messy and get dev particle all over your work area and it's difficult to clean up with normal rags ect. It is a specialize job.

Better you get yourself a cheap used low mileage machine and save yourself the headache and trouble.

Thanks for all the advice, I'm awere of that and all the things that could be wrong thats why I ask you before go further but if i broker something I prefer to do it myself because we had bad experience in the past, also I have to say that I do it just for fun.

also I had another question related with the cleaner unit.

if you see this video https://youtu.be/t6t-36anwsE?t=733 min 12:14 the guy point to a plastic over the grid, that plastic its broke in all my units so there is a gap between the grid and the plastic frame, I believe thats bad. is it replaceble? or can I solve it in any way?

            thanks.

That plastic seal is not necessary, and often causes developing issues. The plastic dries out and breaks off in 2mm wide strips that lay across the primary grid or get sucked up into the developing unit, later causing developing issues. Preventatively, if I see any cracks I peel those plastic strips off, before they get into trouble.

If it really bothers you, you can order new primary charge assemblies, but it will not make any difference in the performance of the machine. The idea is to minimize any toner dusting onto the grid, but if toner is dusting onto the grid, this seal will not prevent it from happening and will not solve the overtoning issue. =^..^=
