    Re: e-studio 2000ac color scan

It's been along time since I did it, but there are separate default settings in each scan shortcut. I usually end up re-creating the shortcut with the new settings that I want. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

If you acquired this copier through a used equipment broker, you should probably perform a factory reset under 2nd page of Admin menu and re-program the copier over again.

When you say scan to the computer, via what method. FileShare or via network Folder?

You probably use scan templates and as blackcat said, when the template is created it will use the settings at the time of creation as the default settings. Have you tried to scan to USB, email, own HDD File Share? Use the Scan button to get the testing and not through the shortcut, if created.
