    Sending email on a 2520AC...

I don't think I have seen this before. I have a customer who can send 1 (up to at least 5 pages) without an issue, but when they send 13 pages, the scan log reports the email sent successfully, but the email never appears in the inbox, or their junk folder. I have enabled the transmit via url as a temporary fix, but I can't imagine why the emails wouldn't appear in a normal scan to email. The customer mentioned that she told the delivery person that scanning large amounts of docs, and said he made an adjustment, but all the settings I checked appear correct. I'm wondering if anyone has a solution to allow large(r) documents to scan directly to email. Also, I believe she did mention the scan to email was working properly up until yesterday.

Thanks in advance for your attention.

Please define in terms of MB sent and not pages.

If your customer is mostly sending black only pages, the number of pages should not matter. If you client is sending 13 colour pages at 600 DPI the file size climbs rapidly.

Likely the SMTP Service provider you are using has a low MB file limit. You might have to configure an alternate provider.

Check to make sure in Top Access/ SMTP Client that the maximum MB file size is set to at least 30 MB.

If the files are very large then XM SendSecure (a premium cost solution offered by Toshiba) allows up to 5 TB files to be sent.

Depends on what they are scanning and the email size attachment limit of your email provider; as mentioned above.
The only setting available at the machine level is the attachment limit but, this will be trumped be the email service.
Set up SMB scan to folder, can scan without size imitations all day long....

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

+1 on that. Watch for scan error 2552:
Scan to email fails, 2552 error on the log. Endusers email server limits attachment size to 1MB [in this case: (1) page color 200dpi, (4) pages grayscale 300dpi, (9) pages grayscale 200dpi]. Change default from color to grayscale. Black setting does a poor job on halftones.

This one was particularly difficult to decode. The problem for me, was that the enduser referred to "scan to email" as "fax", and it wasn't jamming, it was stopping scans of large stacks of originals because the the email server cut off the transaction. This enduser had defaults of 600dpi color:
DF stops feeding originals after 8 originals. No jams stored. Enduser complains "Won't fax." "No POP3 server" message. Scan to email fails 2C15. The DF stops scanning when it becomes clear that the scan failed. Attachment size exceeds email providers limit. Set scan to email defaults to 300dpi to attach more documents.

To get the maximum number of attachment pages (smallest file size), select lowest dpi, grayscale or B&W, Text original type, background removal ON. In the end, it's a compromise ... nobody wants 100x100dpi pixelized images, like an old low resolution fax.
        =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The e2520AC is one of Toshiba's latest models. I suggest you update the firmware to V1733 latest just to rule out any bugs in the early firmware releases.

Make an effort to read the Readme before performing this task. The firmware update procedure has changed significantly. It is most important that you only update what the copier indicates in blue and not select everything.
