    De-tone a 2050C

    I have a machine that is way overtoned and need to run sky shots to do this without the machine adding toner. Is there a code for this?
    Also, this was caused by a tech turning off the patch adjustments 05-2742 05-4719

      remove the toner bottle and do sky shots untill it tells you to insert toner bottle. i know it works on the newer machines but dont know about these older ones. also usually if its overtoning the toner sensor cleaning blade on the auger is probably on its way out and needs replacing

          You won't get any long term benefit ... but feel free to try. Use originals like this:

          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
