    F105 on E3511

Have a 3511 in the field that is coming up with a F105.....intravia says Hard Drive Error. Is there a way to clear this or does it need a new hard drive? Thanks for your help.

    SH manual says :
    (1) Check if the connectors of the HDD are disconnected.
    (2) Check if the connector pins are disconnected or the wires of harnesses are open circuited.
    (3) Perform the bad sector check (08-694). If the check result is OK, recover the data in the HDD. If
the check result is failed, replace the HDD.
    (4) Replace the SYS board.

Hard drive and firmware reload are required. The sector check will pass and this will come back. If the drive is a maxtor it will not pass a sector check when hot...
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!
