e-282 cycles too often in middle of prints

I am working on an e-Studio 282 that customer claims when they try to make a copy or when faxes come in, the copier may print 2 or 3 pages then starts to cycle for a long time. They open the right door to stop the cycling, then they may print 2 or 3 more print and continuous to cycle. I went to verify what the copier was doing but upon arrival had a C440. It turned out a screw had fallen off 1 of the heater lamps. I reinstalled it, tested ok. The next day customer says the machine keep cycling again. I went back there again and the machine was working fine. Checked fuser and all ok. It also has a brand new toner (OEM). I recently delivered this machine and prior to delivery I replaced the heat roller with a generic Katun brand.
At this point I'm not sure if the cycling problem is with fuser temperature or with the imaging unit.
My question is if anyone has had this problem and what was the solution?
    Thanks in advance.

Put new toner cartridge. I saw some broken spirals inside cartridge, and machine doesn't get toner, and starts cycling

Or there is faulty toner sensor on developer station. i used to clean these sensors with WD-40 and it started to work.

Recheck the fuser lamps and make sure one isn't broken, gives a similar fault to what you discribe.
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the restraints

                350 usb

Nhimlongxu, from what I can see it looks like you have a e-studio 350 that prints from the computer but not from the usb thumb drive? If that's the case try a different usb thumb drive. Those machines don't recognize all types of USB's. look at the "Technet Docs" under the 350 on www.fyi.toshiba.com there is an 03 mode in your handbook to test the usb storage device for compatibility.
                Hope this helps,

                Rick

The 350 does not print from a USB thumb drive. It can print via USB, but you still need a print enabler to allow this. Emujo

The assumption was that the print enabler was already there.Otherwise his customer would not be able to print from the computer, much less the usb drive.

Just trying to clear up any confusion from your post...techs may think they can print from a thumb drive with the 350 or that USB printing is available without the print enabler. Anyway, the original post was about the MFP cycling during the run and I'm inclined to believe it is a problem with the heat lamps. One of the lamps can be broken/off and it won't pop a fuser code (can't remember which one) but it does result in the symptoms described. Emujo

These machines break toner cartridges really easy. If the customer does not pull the tab, once machine starts to run, that toner cartridge is DEAD! A lot of times, they will not show that they need toner, but if it runs long at start up, runs after last copy out, or runs during a long run, it is toner related. Pull the tab, and make sure it latches good.

I believe that would be the secondary lamp. The outer thermistor does not stay hot so it keeps pausing and trying to heat it up.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

                              Hey Guys:
Thanks for all your help. I went out of town and did not get back to post was the current situation is.
I arrived to the customers and once again they had a fuser warm-up code "C440".
I rebuilt a different fuser unit using a Toshiba OEM PM Kit and a new thermister. Worked good for another 3 days and same code returned "C440".
I hired out to update the firmwares. It's been probably 3 days and so far customer has not called back (KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED).
What ever was going on was fuser related but possibly from firmware problems I'm hoping.
If the same problem continues then I will let you all know.
Have yourselves a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
