C440 returned and with a fuser melt.
Once again rebuilt fuser with OEM parts (HR, PR, Claws, Cleaning Roller, and Thermister )
and also exchanged the power supply PCB.

      Power Supply

Most cases that I have seen with similiar problems have been caused by the power supply. On these models, I've seen the 5.1v signal from the power supply drop off and give bad readings from the thermistors. This will cause the machine to sit there and run while doing nothing.

A week later customer has not called back for this problem.
The power supply board was indeed the problem.
Thanks again for all your help and suggestions.
          Have agreat weekend
