The machine uses the mirrors, lens and the ccd to scan. the ccd is just behind the lens. If this is the prints you are looking at then it could be the laser slit glass, or developer or calibration. It is a computer scan then it could be ccd, or a loose connection.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

If this is scan only, not a print, then clean the optics and the white plate.

Try scanning in Text mode instead of Text/Photo or vice-versa. With clean optics if that doesn't do it I think you would be looking at 05 adjustments and you would need a service handbook to figure out which adjustments to make. You could try calibrations under UserFunctions>Admin>General but I do not think that will make a difference, but it won't hurt anything either.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

              Dear Friend,

I have done calibration but it gives error. Calibration for Copy or Print....both gives error....Tried to adjust in 05...but with a mare improvment.

              Thanks

If it won't calibrate you might have a problem like mentioned above; with the CCD or the connections on the SLG if you are lucky.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

Problem with calibration? Check if there are jobs in any of the print queues. Delete all of the jobs and You will be able to make calibration.
