    [Misc] Upgrade memory for Toshiba e-studio 3511

    I'm trying to upgrade the memory to my e-studio 3511 and have purchased what I thought was the correct ram (256M PC-133 SDRAM), however having installed the ram I find that my display panel just flashes intermittently and does not proceed to come up with the usual display.

    Any suggestions on where I may have gone wrong? I'm upgrading to obtain the higher quality print but so far have had no success.

      Did you purchase the RAM from Toshiba? My understanding is the RAM is proprietary to Toshiba.
      Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the restraints

          Thanks...Toshiba have confirmed that the ram is proprietary. Here I was thinking this was going to be easy!!
