I have about 10 or 12 E207 copiers at library branches throughout my city. They are billed on a monthly meter reading basis. Well, my admin dept. asked me to go check on one machine that had reported a meter of 77 million copies!! The previous month was 32K and was on track with previous months. Assuming someone did a typo or similar, I went by and the meter actually did read 77 million.. The scan count was ok at 3k..I tried initializing rams but no solution. Any ideas out there?? Everything else is on track. Copier runs well. But how did the meter jump to 77 million??

It also happens when the NVRAM is replaced, or when some clueless tech does a system reset trying to solve a HDD failure code. EmujoIf you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.Comment

Now I see. You are right. That's why such a codes must not be spread all around (resetting). Using them might cause bigger problem than initial one.
