    toshiba e-studio45 wont power on!!

    good day!

    sometimes i need to power off the copier for a couple of minutes for some reasons, but when im going to switch it back, it wont power on, it would take at least an hour before the copier powers on.
    could somebody please help me on what maybe the problem on this machine.

    this is maybe a powersupply problem, try to change the kondensators ore change ps if you have one.

        Check the following (no specific order)

        hard drive
        fuser thermistors
        door interlocks
        main power switch
        power supply.
        And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

          I,ve seen this quite a few times. Most of the time it's the power supply and have had 1 or 2 sys boards fail. But power supply unit mostly

            thank you for the replies, going to check it out, i've already changes the fuser and the hard drive. maybe the power supply, interlocks.

                  This machine has a swichable power supply a toshiba trate, they have to discharge before they recover a problem on early models power supply can be modified by changing a diode cant remember which one long time ago change the power supply best fix

                      You try change all photo couplers in power supply unit.

                          i got it just resoldering these parts and it will work good - it is not capacitors problem
