    toshiba estudio 160

I have a toshiba e-studio 160 series, with ethernet card. As i have to change tcp/ip options, i need to know the password!!! (please, don't ask why i dont' know it :_| ) I read somewhere that should be possible to show the admin password by: 1 - powering the machine in TEST MODE (pressing 0&8 while powering) 2 - typing 263 and pressing START Point 1 it's ok, but point 2 doesnt' return any information. Maybe the page where i read this trick was for another model, different than e-studio 160, and so i have to type another number.. its not 12345 or 123456 I hope that someone could help me thanks Benny

08-263 is for the ebridge series machines and this is well before that.
    to change ip
    program
    initial setup
    network
then scroll to the settings that need to be changed
should not need a code unless someone turned on department codes
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

This Parts & Service manual can now be purchased for $11.77 and downloaded immediately after payment from The Internet's largest collection of manuals

Thomas, You are trying to change ip address via network interface. Don't. Do it Mr Spock's way.

I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.

          master-password or reset all

My problem is not the change of the IP address and integration on the network, I have done this over the keyboard and the settings. Unfortunately, I cannot print with the device and not change the remaining settings about http: //, because password is not known, ping ist ok!
