Check the pm counters and see what needs to be replaced. Also check the dev unit drive gears along with the drum and main charge. Is the image on the drum solid?
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

The image on the drum also not solid. All the needed parts been replaced. The dev unit drive gears along with the drum and main charger also good in condition. The output is black but there have many white spot and some more you can see the magnetics line.

When was the developer replaced last. If recently did you run the dev setup (05-200 and 05-290)? If the image on the drum is light then it is either main charge, drum ground, developer or image sensors.
Are you using oem parts or aftermarket?

I have had to scotch brite the mag rollers on these. They can build up gunk... really more on the older series though. I know you said the image on the drum is light but.... if all else fails check transfer. Splotchy image might be poor transfer. Oh and make sure you clean the laser slit glass.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.
