Disabling stapling function on saddle stitch finisher

Have you tried using magazine sort without saddle stitch staple. Otherwise try removing the staples from the saddle stitch unit. It will attempt to staple but will not actually insert staples. There is no low staple sensor so you will not receive an error if the staples are missing.

Hi all,

Have this issue raised by a customer. He wants to fold the printed output and disable the saddle-stitch stapling function on a saddle-stitch finisher (MJ-1030).

Had ran through the SHB and SM for finisher, but can't find anything to meet this request.

Any clue?
