    [Misc] Toshiba e161

Hi all. I have a problem with this machine. It doesn't matter if i copy from the glass or if i print from the pc, the copy looks like this : http://a.imageshack.us/img836/9716/scanimage001.jpg

I tested the OPC drum on another machine and it worked just fine.
    I welcome any ideas.
    Thanks!

Did you test/change developer station. We had same problems with almost new machines, and had to change developer station.

I didn't. But what specific part of the developer station could cause this defect? Just curious.

Milars on front and rear side where white aria of the drum contacts dev unit. Also check white aria of the drum if any scratches goes to metal base. In order to work there must be no continuity between white aria and inside side of the drum.

I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.

Yes, it should. Keep at hand one drum in any case.
