    E550 w/ C26 error

HAs anyonr had a C26 that was not resolved by replacing the lens assy and SLG bd? This one is stumping me...Also replaced lamp and inverter board on the off chance that lamp was dimming, but no success. SLG board was new out of box, but lens assy was "repaired" by HYTECH. But I must state that HYTECH has never let me down before. Wanted a 2nd opinion before I re-order the lens assy and SYS bd. Emujo

Check/replace cable between lamp and inverter. It might be strange to You but check also home sensor.

I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.

I had one on another model which ended up being the Power Supply.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

I have had the ccd assembly be bad straight from Toshiba (not a hytech repair) so I would guess so...
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Believe it or not, I've had C-26's that were just dirty exposure lamp and optics...

This may sound odd but i've done it a half dozen times....Take a bright flashlight (Preferablly LED) and shine it straight through the lens for about 10 or 15 seconds then reboot copier..I've even fixed c26 by shining flashlight on mirror 2 right in the middle so the strongest light reflects through the lens.. It's ok to laugh..But it does something to the ccd to correct... Don't get me wrong. I've replaced many lens/ccd/slg boards but give it a shot

You know it is really odd. But it is working. Today I have had problem with E7-11 - eS161. Cleaning with dry cloth or alcohol doesn't help so I do exactly as You say. And it is ok now!!! You got rep power by me!!!
