    e4520c Constantly Waiting

I have a e4520c approx 1.5 years old . The LCD displays constantly "Wait" or "Ready Warming Up". It takes forever to print out jobs more than five pages.

We have formatted the HDD, we have upgraded the Firmware.

We have replaced the lower fuser Drum Thermistor as per Tech supports suggestions.

    Any ideas.

    Thanks,

Usually when I here this I suggest the following.
    Hard drive
    memory
    fuser temp sensors
    toner/developer

If this uses the ir temp sensors (thermopiles) then make sure they are clean. If not then it will affect the fuser causing it to run hot and continually reheat between pages.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

The boards should still be under warranty from Toshiba, if you work for an Authorized Toshiba dealer you should be able to get them replaced with little charge to you. If changing out the HDD or RAM doesn't do it I'd go with the SYS or IMG board. Unless you think it's fuser related then thermopiles, lamps, power supply, logic board.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.
