Alias on eBridge 3 printer drivers

Hi guys, was just wondering, what is the function of the User Name (Alias) in the Others section of the printer driver? Can it be used to replace the name in the job status for printing?

I believe that is it's only use. You can program the drive to send the user's name instead of the computer name.

I have tested it out, and found that it only works for those in Private, Hold and other printing Not in the job status and logs side

ahh... good to know. i remember the notes about it in the firmware history but I forgot exactly what it did. Thanks!
