    [Misc] E sudio 232 not printing

    Hi Guys,
    I have a estudio 232 that has a problem printing
    when print job is sent data light flashes, but does not print,
    job shows in log , but says no pages, no sets!

    I have tried a direct connection to my laptop, tried the universal driver, the postscript and pcl.

    any help appreciated

    Does it have the print enabler? If so which one as they are specific to the machine family. What o/s on the laptop and what firmware on the copier?
    And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

            My question would be..was it printing before, and did you make any changes to the network berore it stopped. If you were never printing then you probably need the enabler. If it stopped printing you may have an issue with department codes, a newer OS that is not supported by the 232, or a internal broblem with the NIC. Resetting it may help, along with a firmware update. If you can get into Top Access and print out a test page, this would 95% rule out a NIC problem. 08/690 will format the HDD and may help with a corrupt job stuck in the queue. I had one where the customer found out how to turn on the 60 day trial, and then put a service call up to have it fixed when the trial period ran out.
