E-Studio 555 thru 855 Copies wrap around drum

I have several of these units that paper wraps around the drum, or into the cleaner unit.

I've removed the center drum claw, flashed the machine to latest firmware, and still have this problem.


Anyone found a real solution?

08-841 set to 4 helps with paper curl jams on drum. Most of the time I've seen it suck the paper into the cleaning section because it fed two, or more sheets of paper. You get about 1/4 image on the paper the customer clears from the fuser and the rest of the image on the jammed copy. I have ran into this a lot.

I have had this problem several times. There is a TSB on this problem. There are Spacers that mount on Transport Bed increasing space between Drum and transport. It does not always work, also might try replacing shaft and shifting mech. that hold fingers I am told by my rep that shaft gets warped causing problem. I had major pain with machine with 50k on it and we ended up changing whole cleaning unit finally solved problem.
