    E-Studio 550

Hi guys, I am new to the Toshiba Forums as I specialize in Canon.

My quesstion is what is the overall performance of this machine. I have a current customer that wants me to take it over but I dont want to take on a beast! Other than normal wear and tear stuff should I be weary of anything?

    Thanks in advance!
    Joe

This Parts & Service manual can now be purchased for $11.77 and downloaded immediately after payment from The Internet's largest collection of manuals

They are a far cry from the newer 520, 523, and now 555 series in my opinion. The Fuser's are not nearly as good (idle gear with oneway on back of fuser) and the developer unit is a problem child after it gets 1-2million on it (just wears out.) Paper feed on these is really good however. ADF is really good. Just keep the tires changed and the dust cleaned off. There are no Windows 7 drivers for this model.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

Hopefully, there is not a GL1020 Print Controller attached. Not a bad device but hopelessly out of date based upon Win NT with 45 minute reboots. If so, smile and walk away.
