    toshiba 3500c error c570

i have a toshiba 3500 with an error c570 evry time i plug in the mj-1101 finisher to the machine. I noticed that if i run the machine with out the finisher it will start up and run just fine, but once I plug in the finisher it gives me the error code c570. any help or ideas? thanks in advance.

After looking up in the service manual i found that there could probably be a short or a open circuit, a bad ipc board or even a bad lgc board. I went ahead and replaced the ipc board and i used another finisher to troubleshoot and still no good. if i unplug the ipc board from the lgc board and leave the finisher pluged in, it also gives me the c570 error code. I know that the lgc board isnt bad because it still operates the machine. so i guess it could be that there is a short or open circuit, anyone had this problem before?

i replaced the lgc board and also the harness that conects the finisher to the ipc board and power supply, and no luck, the machine still gives me that c570 error code.

So You have SH. Take a closer look at 08-1912.

yeah i did set the setting to 1 for the mj-1101 finisher, actually what i did was I connected a mj-1030 and changed the setting to 0 and as soon as i did it moved the elevator tray and the machine was working just fine. very very wierd, but thanks for responding.

Im assuming you have the power turned off at the machine when you plug the finisher in, right?

Make sure you have the correct ipc pwb. This one may not work with the mj1101. part numbers are different.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

I have had the exact same problem/code when adding a finisher and board to a machine that had none, haven't gotten past it yet!

Read what you have tried so far. Have you tried what Mr Spock said and checked it is the correct ipc pwb? If it is the correct ipc pwb, and the fault is still occurring I would try the logic.
Does the finisher you are trying to connect work on another machine?
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.
