Estudio 451C replace yellow toner?? grrrr

    Hi.
Im having a problem on my 451C.
It said replace yellow toner, i took out the old one, put in new one, but the machine keeps saying replace yellow toner. i searched on here and found a couple of bits so pulled off the side and found a sensor, took it off and cleaned, put back together and yeah it worked. ... for 1 sheet then replaced yellow again.

I can access the top part due to the bridge bypass tray (anyone know how to remove it)

when its trying the yellow it takes about 10 mins as it keeps spinning round the carriage and trying the yellow again and again. its like it knows its there but not getting anything out but tried 2 new units and htey both are the same.

    any ideas are welcome.

    thanks

check the mag roller for toner and check the density sensor above the mag roller (the one with the quality patch). If this is not registering toner after 3-5 times then it codes out with add toner. You may also not have enough developer in the yellow unit to the quality correct.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

2 things...1st make sure you cleaned the correct sensor..the toner in place sensor is a photo refelctor type and is the farthest to the rear of the area you pulled the sensor in question from. 2nd make sure you are using 451C toner and not 4511 as the 2 are physically the same, but notched differently. additionaly, if you are actually having low yellow density you should be able to see this in test mode by printing out a yellow half tone test. Possibly the toner drive/add clutch is not working. Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

The bridge is held on by 5 screws. 4 on the left side, 1 on the front of the machine behind a cover (1 addl. screw). There is one connector behind a plastic plate (2 addl. screws) on the right side. If you can not figure out how to get it off I would recommend calling your local Toshiba dealer.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.
