toshiba e352 new hard drive? software needed?

    Forgot to read the headline.....

    This is a 352 then you need 352 firmware, not 202_282. They are not the same hence the error message.
    And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

      yes it is a estudio352. i guess i have the wrong firmware? where can i get the 352 firmware?

                thanks i got past loading the firmware finially and then got an F100 error. from what i can find online, looks like that is a HD error. i took the hd out of a external drive i never used and put it in. the jumpers are set to master. it was working fine when i removed it, im thinking of just getting a brand new one out of the box.

                any other ideas what can cause a F100 error other than needing a new hard drive or something i might can try to fix it?

                  Also, does the HD have to be formatted a certain way? should everything load and work properly regardless of FAT, FAT32 or NTFS?
