    e-Studio 810 random C44, C43 codes etc.

    Hello Everyone,

My 2nd and last post for the day, I hope. Does anyone have issues with this series generating random fuser codes? We replace both the lower and upper thermistors and this seems to resolve the issue for a couple of weeks. This one machine runs approx 130K per month. Would the technical update for the shims really help this when replacing the thermistors seems to correct the issue, at least for a while?

    Thanks Again!

Is the blue plug shim in place? Make sure the thermistors are touching the rollers ( you know that I just had to throw it out there). Check the Ih coil for the new style. Old style has a weak cap causing the coil not to come on. Usually throws IH coil errors but I have seen it cause thermistor errors as well. Also check the plug from the rear of the machine back to the logic pwb and wall power.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Thanks for the information. I will check the items you listed. Of course, I'll post back to let you know what we find. This might be a couple of days to weeks to see if we find out the actual cause.

      Take Care

Try checking the drawer connector from the Fuser up to LGC board. Replacement of the drawer connector may help at times.

we had a 650 doing same. cause was bad power. we solved by putting a line conditioner on and replacing main board. messed up two main boards before solving. we know it's in main board because we brought boards into shop and installed in machine here and same thing with install machines. machine would run week, sometimes more and throw code. machine in field with line conditioner no more problems.
