Toshiba e-studio 280 freezes when printing a PDF

    Thanks Mr Spock, i've formatted the HD as well, it seemed to improve things but the customer has since rang back saying it's still prone to freezing but not as bad as before.

      I also agree with your answer better to give a try with PS (Postscript) Driver installed in your pc and print it should work. Else as an alternative method try to find acrobat writer software and convert your pdf pages to a different format and make printouts.

        Next suggestion would be to change hard drive and reload the firmware. After that it is either the control panel or system pwb.
        And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

          Are they using windows7? I have seen this exact thing with windows7 on these boxes. There is no windows7 driver, I have had luck using the universal drivers for a e600. Don't know why but it worked... no reason I picked that model just random and it worked so I stuck with it on a couple instances since.
          I will not give you service manuals or firmware.
