    Tosh estudio 352 error f111

Machine gives this error when using adf. scans the first page then jams with f111. sometimes you cannot clear the jam indicator without rebooting the machine. sometimes the jam spontaneously occurs while the machine is idle. the manual just says scanner abnormality and check the cables between sys and lgc boards or replace boards. cables are fine. wanted to see if anyone knew what the cause was before I dump a bundle on boards and that not be the cause. Thanks in advance.

One common cause is the 5v rail being low. There are others but I'm not in a position to research those at the moment.

F111 Errors can be caused by a faulty Ruby Exit sensor part number 6LE49514000.Paper
will stop at the exit rollers but the ADF will continue running for approximately 10 seconds
until a F111 error will occur.
F111 Errors can also be caused by the 5.1 volt rail from the power supply being to low this
can be adjusted depending upon the type of machine the Document feeder is on.
