    [CQ] Misplacing Cyan

    Hello everybody,

I need your help with a problem on a ES-281C.
Random it puts all cyan on the wrong place on the copy or print.
Quality of print is oke it is just wrong placed. (cyan)
It is exactly 1 cm to low on the print or kopie.
I checked the d-shaped drive-gear of the tbu, this was tight.
Now lots of kopies later it seems all right but now an then the problem comes back.
I can't trace the problem, familiar for someone ??

Sorry for my bad English, but thanks for your respond.

Has the transfer belt unit being cleaned? Clean the reflective strips if you can, if they are worn and peeling away you will need to replace the transfer belt. This might be the cause.
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

Hey Michaelc, thanks for your reply, the sensors that are reading the reflective strips were dirty. I cleaned them and all color prints are perfect so far.
        Thanks again.
