toshiba E-studio 232 has fuser jams

    [Jamming] toshiba E-studio 232 has fuser jams

    Is there A mod for this fuser unit i have a few that are jamming and they seem to knock the upper scrapers right out of there holder?? or Is this a POS fuser in thie model

    They released a new style of fingers for this model. They may not be available third party. You may have to order direct from Toshiba. They used the same part number as the old style.
    And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

      Didn't Toshiba mod the top cover of these to fit brackets to help hold the idle rollers in place better?

          correct, but the rollers aren't the issue in this case, old style scrapers can fall back out of there housing after a paper jam, pretty much blocking the paper path.

          who ever fixed the issue has obviously quit or forgot because the 455 series has the same issue lol... when will they learn :S

            Those little black rollers sometimes get caked up with toner and cause a few probs to.
            It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

              Along with the new style seps I find instructing the customer to fully when removing jams seems to help. I explain and show them that opening it all the way releases the pressure and they do not have to yank the paper out.
