I am sure I used jigs to update that type of machine last time. What size usb pen are you using? Did you format it before using it?
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

I use and gaurd my 256mb and 512mb usb pens with my life. They work on anything. Does your 2gb usb pen work ok on other ES165 machines?

Why are you upgrading the firmware?

i am not try with any other machines, due to lightining both logic pcb and network board bournedout, so i replaced the logic pcb(motherboard) and network board, now the machine works fine without network board, when i connect with network board the machine shows only "please wait" message. i unable to solve the problum, even i changed another network board and logic pcb but no result.
