    281c waste toner full???

I have a new waste toner bottle in the machine. lets strt there.
i had an scee0 code, trans blt home position error, changed the sensor, then as i was re starting the machine, i get a wast toner btl full,
there is no reset counter, nor a sensor in the front? where is the sensor for this and if its not the sensor, could i have put somthing back together wrong in the tran belt assmbly? i removed it, reconstructed it twice, still the same prob, i dint think it was connected, i think its coincedence... anybody with any solution?
and the secratary reminds me"we need to use our machine" i just look and smile and say (what do you think im stupid, of coarse you need to use your machine!!!!!watch me pull some parts outta my ass!!!!) just kidding,,, i always say yes ma'am.

The transfer belt auger moves to a photo interrupter in the rear of the machine triggering the waste toner full.
Check the auger and make sure the shaft moves easily. If not then pull it apart and clean it. also clean the sensor.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

The sensor is on the back of the machine, it uses the drum cleaning auger/shaft to make/break the sensor. Have you tried hoovering the drum cleaning station out?

I think its the drum auger, mr spock has got me nervous. Gonna check manual now....Manuals are on my other laptop.
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

It is the drum auger not the transfer belt auger.... Too many machines, not enough storage space....... Not enough brain cells to manage it either!

You know more than me by a longshot. I checked a machine today (even though I cleaned it 3weeks ago) just to see for myself.
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

ok this is what it was for all your info to keep in the back of your head,as if there isnt enugh already,
the pin that activates the sensor is in the drum waste toner, correct, it was stuck "out" in the backside of the transfer belt unit , its supposed to move as it get full it moves this pin through the sensor. The pin is located on the shaft of the drum wst toner auger. you should be able to move it back and forth by hand easily. mine was stuck and in the out position causing the machine to sense the waste toner full.wow.
toshiba, gotta love em....NOT!!the run dirty and dont play nice!!
