    [Dead] E-studio 351C

    Hi,
    today my E-studio 351C show a blinking "printing data" but nothing appened.
    Try to restart the machine but only the logo shows in the lcd display now.No action when I press keys (any key),nothing...DEAD
    Any suggestions?

      More information required:
      1. What kind of file, how many pages, how big, etc.
      2. How is the machine hooked up going from your computer to the machine?
      3. After sending a document to print, open up the print que on your pc and see if the amount of data transferred keeps going up.

      Quick diagnostics:
      1. open up ms word and type something simple and send it to machine. did it print? if it did your file is probably so big it's taking a long time to rip. if the file didn't print, you may have a communication error.
      2. can you make a copy on the machine? if not, you have bigger issues. if you can, then you've now isolated the issue to print only components.

      Other thoughts:
      1. Could be static/nonstatic ip issue but I'll wait to hear back from you.
      2. Please answer my questions in a simple and easily layed out format. I don't ask for info twice nor do i like reading a novel when giving free help and diagnostics.

          If it is stuck at logo you may have a hdd going bad. You can try to reformat (08-690-2) and see if it helps. If not then you will need a new hdd and the firmware to reload afterwards.
          And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

              I'll try to reformat the disk but I don't know how to do this procedure....08-690-2 is a code sequence ? how get the machine in "service" mode?

                  Try to start the machine by pressing "3 + CLEAR" but don 't help...
                  When I start the machine this is what I get on lcd display (nothing more....) and the copier is still ,no work ,no light...
