e45 don't save ip

e45 don't save ip every time i set it and restart the machine it's return to auto

e 250 test print

i have e 250 every time i switch it on a test page with it's IP is out so how can i stop this page . thanks for help

you could try set your router to automatically give the copier the same ip address, every router is different but should be possible. (its been well over 2 years since iv looked at a e45 so i cant remember the network settings)

with the e16 if you type in the ip address of the copier in a web browser, theres a option in there to turn of the automatic network page print.

other than that, update the machines lol... atleast a es232

If it's the embedded controller (not the GL) then you probably have a dead backup battery. You can get this at Radio Shack or the like. Ditto on the startup page...08 setting to turn this off. Emujo
