    [Dead] E-Studio 4540C says ready warming up

    I am working on an E-Studio 4540C that has a constant ready warming up message. I have taken out the fuser, tried different therms, formatted HDD, and still will not come out of warming up. This happened right after customer replaced used toner bag, not that it has anything to do with problem. I think my next step is to try a different HDD. Any ideas what is causing this? Only has 57K on it. Thanks

      Did you try reloading the firmware with the latest V2050T?

          Thanks for the reply. I did add the latest firmware V3000.

              The Service Manual suggests it is some sort of Initialization error, possibly with the Scanner unit. After reloading the firmware try, 08-9030.

                  When did V3000 come out? In the last 30 days?

                      I did the init 08-9030 after the FW update to v3000. That version has been out 2-3 weeks.

                          you can also do a HDD format (Like 08 - 690 on eB3) its in a different mode, somthing like C+3... check the service manual...

                          The latest firmware we have iv V2051W... does V3000 improve the UI speed and font sizes etc?
