Re: dp 6570
Old box, but if memory serves....there was a setting in 05 (or 08) that went to 1 when LCT had problem. Setting back to 0 cleared and LCT was available again. 2nd, disconnect finisher and try again if success, then you have a tray lift motor causing a logic error. Replacing the motor solved this one. EmujoIf you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.Comment

Re: dp 6570
Thanks for the info. The code is 08-382 and I ran the code and it was at 0 - reset it back to 0 again and nothing has changed. ThanksComment

Re: dp 6570
I have same problem with my estudio 80. Actually the problem started due to my stupidity. While the paper tray was up I did put a package under it and when the paper emptied it started going down and due to that package it got stuck. I turned the machine off, took that package out and turned the machine on and guess what, the problem. The lct is not going up or down. The add paper is flickering on the display even if there is paper. The lct door switch is off. Sometime the display shows there is paper in the tray but when you push the lct door switch it starts flickering. Called the mechanic who spent 4 hours and did not find anything and while leaving told me that the main logic board needs to be replaced. The guy did not even checked voltage at any point. Would you kindly suggest how the problem can be solved? Machine has only 300k copies on it. Are there any points where we can check the voltage? How may voltage should be at the tray motor? Any possible suggestion would be appreciated. The manual paper feed is working and all the other trays are working fine. thanksLast edited by copyplus; 01-28-2012, 12:11 AM.Comment
